Teacher Spot Light: Tina Egli

If you have every had a conversation with Tina, seen her work with children, heard her sing or gotten one of these hugs, you know what true unconditional love feels like.

Tina has found her calling in teaching Kindermusik, which she did earlier in life, while waiting tables and living in Rhode Island when she and Nate were first married.  Happily for us, they moved back to the midwest to raise their family.  The first thing Tina did was to find a Kindermusik class for Zach!  She stayed in Kindermusik as a parent for 12 years, and after Kyle graduated she took the new training to renew her license and joined our team at Kindermusik of the Valley.  Lucky us!

This year Tina is Teaching all levels of Kindermusik from Newborns to our Big Kids Classes, She also teaches our Ukulele Classes and  our pre-piano program called Play A Story.  Here Tina will continue to give a big boost and creative under-duck to children and families who will step into traditional or Simply Music Piano Lessons Next Year.  If you would like to learn more about this unique and special program you can see that here.

Here is what Tina has to say about why she teaches:  “I love working with children and their families.  It is so very rewarding to see the joy of music fill each child with confidence, enthusiasm, and love.  I also love experiencing a part of each child’s personal development journey and sharing all the processes with their grown ups!  Music is a powerful tool and I love equipping families with ideas that they can bring home with them.  I am very fortunate to be a part of this beautiful community!”

Tina is the mom of two lucky boys, Zach (15) and Kyle (12) one lucky husband, Nate and happy dog Sadie.  They live in Elko.  Her favorite color is blue and her favorite song is Lennon’s Imagine
